Beautiful Bear Lake

It was another year at Bear Lake with the family. Last year I didn't have the chance to go, which I was really bummed out about, but this year I was able to go for a few days. The days were beautiful and sunny, though the water was quite choppy, which didn't make for very easy slalom skiing. But at least I didn't break my nose this time. I drove up with my Mom, Dad, Grandma Inkley, and Aspen Friday Morning. They only stayed for the day and I hung around until Sunday. Aspen loved playing on the beach and swimming in the water (though it was a bit cold for her at first, she warmed up to it). This year the water was super high and we didn't have our normal, nice beach we are used to. So the sand was rocky and not as "feet friendly" but the water was a lot closer to the camp sights and we were able to use the closer boat dock which my family couldn't remember when the last time they were able to use that one was. These are a few of my adorable little cousins, Morgan, Brooklyn, & Whitley. They were fun and very entertaining, definitely drama queens! Here I am on the Slalom. It took me a while to get up bc every time I yelled "Hit It" a wave would come and my ski would start to tilt. But I did get up once and that was satisfying enough for me:) mostly bc it was too choppy, but also bc of my screwed up ankle and knee...
Ashley and Hailey taking care of the orange flag. Gosh Ashley, "You're just so weird!" :)love yaI had a great time at Bear Lake and was really happy I had the opportunity to go this year. Thanks to my family that let me stay with them and put up with me. My Aunt Shirlayne had her huge telescope with her and we were able to see the moon up close; that was pretty cool! My cousin Nikki, cleaned out the intensely deep cut on my Uncle Neal's foot that he couldn't even feel and said she thought he had Gangrene. Yuck! We went tubing on The Molecule and spiced it up a bit. When you are on a tube, you have to go crazy or else it is just lame...but we had a great time bouncing around out there. I got quite a bit of sun, which was a good thing on my legs bc my Uncle Neal nicknamed me "Whitey" and I wasn't really a fan of that:) So now, I have color! Anyways, it was a great trip and I am really happy I had time to relax before school starts up again.
