Persistence

I have had my share of health problems, BUT my goals and dreams are bigger then that. I have a great desire to be fit and healthy, and I want to help others do the same. I am willing to push my body to the limits to try to boost my energy levels and increase my mental state to a happy and positive one. I am planning on enrolling in a Personal Training Certification program to become a personal trainer. This way, I will be working on something related to my degree and get some great hands on experience. I am just waiting, to know for sure, this is what the Lord would have me do.
I love my new bike trainer I got for Christmas. I have to play with it & tweak the set up a little more, because it feels like I am on a constant slant, leaning to the left the whole ride and I don't want it to bend the frame on my bike. It really does provide a great workout and causes sweat to drip down my face. I just mess with the gears to make it more difficult and ride as fast and as hard as I can. It is such a great adrenaline rush and a great workout for my not so awesome knee.
Though my stomach has been bothering me, and they just discovered a hernia in my groin, I will not let that stop me. Yes, I will be careful not to aggravate it and look forward to seeing the surgeon for the next step, but I am on fire and ready to get back into shape, out of this mopey depressed state I have gotten myself into. I want to be happy and one way that works for me, is exercise. I have to be motivated myself if I expect to fully motivate others! Happy working out peeps:)
