What a happy week it was! I only had to work a day and a half and the rest of the time was spent with family. We were supposed to be in Colorado to spend Thanksgiving in a new territory but thanks to the "Giant Snow/Wind Storm" we had, our plans quickly changed. Though it was a little disappointing, we still had a great time just being together! We went to the Sperry cabin in Sundance for a night. We played pool & ping pong, built a tiny snowman, and laughed a lot. It was a great start of my happy week...
All I could find were big spoons for my mom's homemade Tomatoe Basil Soup and I thought it would be pretty funny to give him a GIANT one...It was:)
I think I am the only one who knew what was going on....Aspen and my grandpa look really confused (but that isn't anything new with my grandpa:)

Then I officially made my first apple pie...um um good:)
We had Thanksgiving Dinner at Mom and Dad's house. It was a little different without my Grandma Mason frantically running around trying to get things ready. She was missed.

Aspen was ready to eat the moment she got there...she does love her food.

I wanted to work off all of the food I ate; though I really don't eat much more then I normally do. I have a tiny stomach, that's for sure. Aspen loves to work out too.
We went sledding at Sugarhouse Park. We were going to go in Sandy right up the street from my parents but there wasn't much snow left from all the kids that has sled on it previously. So we went to Sugarhouse and used a hill on the other side of the park from the main sleddding hill. I think it was just as big, with less people. Perfect!

We made a couple of jumps and it got a little dangerous. But I think it always does with the Mason kids. I hit the jump just right, flew in the air and ended up with a bloody nose.

I was taking my camera back to the car to my parents so that we could play a little more and I couldn't resist stopping to take a few pictures of the sun going down.

The week sure was a happy one and well spent with family. It went by way too fast but every minute was worth it.
