The girls spent a few days at Tiffany's family cabin in Sundance for a ScRaPbOoK GeTaWaY! We left Thursday night and stayed until Saturday afternoon. We had a great time, laughing (really loud!), talking about random things, recalling wonderful memories, and just getting away from our crazy lives to do what we all love to do.
Tiffany, Annette (her mom), Aunt Shirlayne, my Mom, and Me:)
Aspen loved helping "Grammy Mason" Scrapbook.
This was my Aunt Shirlayne's very first time and I was very proud of her! She had a ball picking out all of her stickers and paper. I gave her a bunch of freebies from work that also gave her a good start. She had a really good time and did an awesome job for her first time. She is super excited and has already decided she is buying a Cricut!
The snow up there was crazy! There was so much of it. In fact, when we first got up there, it was dark and the driveway up to the cabin was extremely slippery and slushy. My Aunt Shirlayne didn't have 4-wheel drive, nor did Tyler and Tiff, . But they tried to gun it and get up...no luck. We all thought my Aunt Shirlayne was crazy bc every time she would gun it she would drive straight into the snowbank. She was determined, but finally agreed to just park at the bottom with the other jeep. So we had to unload my mom's jeep that was 4-wheel and did make it to the top no problem, then take it down twice more to reload the other two cars and unload at the top. It was a huge hassle, but with team work, we got all of our "junk" into the cabin.
Aspen loves stickers and was in heaven with the very large collection we had up there. By bedtime, she had them stuck all over her:)
Her Aspen is climbing up to the "white castle". She said that is was a castle with princesses and horsies. She had a white horse up there at one point and changed it to a green (?) horse. Tiff asked her what happened to the white horse and her response, "oh, it fell off!". She kept asking my mom to follow her up to the castle and then crawl through to the other side. It was wearing her out and she finally told her, "Grandma, right this minute." It was pretty cute.
I got 20 pages done in all plus a ton of organization worked on as well. It was a successful weekend and a wonderful time spent with family.
