We had our ward talent show last night and it was so much fun. the beginning is actually cut from the video - my fault I believe. I must admit, I was a little disappointed in the amount of acts that were actually performed! I thought there would be more. But I was shocked to see not only 1, but FIVE Irish dancers! That's just not something you see very often. We had a lot of singers perform, as well as country dancing and a clarinet player too. It was fun and there was art on display as well as yummy treats that people had made. Me, well of course, I had to perform my favorite talent ever, gymnastics! I performed to a remix of Broken Sorrow by Nuttin' But Stringz, the coolest group EvEr! I made it as an alternate to the stake talent show and am crossing my fingers that they can get me in either way (they were going to try to make 3 from our ward an exception.
Afterwards we were dancing around, just having fun. Jill, a friend of mine, went down. We were all laughing having a great time, then realized she was not just playing around anymore. I walked up behind her and her knee cap was on the outside of her left knee. Amy straightened it out for her and as she did, she popped it back in. Poor girl. Knees really are the worst! Apparently this wasn't the first time its happened, its done it many times before. But she was still in great amounts of pain when she left, which she said normally it is fine once popped back in place. Anyways, I hope it feels good as new in no time.
I can't forget to mention the large amounts of snow we received here in Sandy, Utah. We started late bc it was coming down like crazy! This was my car the following morning...my car was covered and I almost didn't make it out of my driveway!
