I went skiing up at Alta yesterday for the first time in my life and had a blast! I had the best coach and friend teach me, Jeff. He told me I was a natural:) I probably got it from my mom. We practiced a couple of times on the Bunny Slope and then went up the lift to bigger & better skiing. The first time I rode the lift I almost didn't get off. I stood up too late and dropped to my feet. oops...I got it right the second time though. There were steep parts and not so steep down the hill. I only fell a few times but one of the times was Jeff's fault...ok, ok...so technically I didn't have to follow him but he thought it to be a good idea. We were going down a hill and he suggested we take a shortcut. Well, I found myself buried in very deep powder on the side of a hill. But it was great fun and an adventure for sure! The second run down I really started to get the hang of it and started picking up speed. I got better at stopping and turning. I really had an awesome time and can't wait for more.
I must say, Jeff is such a sweet guy...He opened my doors, helped me figure out my ski gear, carried my poles, helped me up when I fell...its hard to find a guy as sweet as Jeff these days....Thanks, Jeff, for a good time! Can't wait to do it again:)

I have probably never been so cold in my life. It was like -2 degrees! My eyelashes were freezing together and when I got into the car, my hair was in a big frozen knot! Thanks to Jeff, my face was pretty warm for awhile bc he was sweet enough to lend me his ski goggles:) -Peanut
