Jessie's Bridal Shower

Jessie is the first great grandchild on the Inkley side and she is getting ready to get married! It gets pretty hectic when all the family gathers together on occasions like these, there are so many of us! But having a large extended family can be super fun too!
Growing up in Texas, away from family, we missed a lot of the little (and Big) family get togethers - like the baptisms, marriages, school plays, sporting events, birthdays, all those fun celebrations and events that make up your life story. We had to create a lot of our own traditions and some of the carried on traditions we had to continue on our own. At times it was difficult, but growing up this way, you don't really know any different. In fact, when we moved back, it was hard to change and be continue the traditions with ALL the family, some we had to put to en end bc there were so many. Despite how hard it was at times, it was nice to have family there, especially through all that followed our move to Utah.
Being able to attend a bridal shower is just one of the many little things we missed out on. And now that we have the ability to go, we try to make it to every family occasion we possibly can.
This is Jessie, opening her gifts from family and friends.
Mom, Aunt Sandi, and Aunt Shirlayne (3 of the 5 sisters)
Anna - one of the many cousins (Alicia's youngest girl)
McKenna (Alicia's oldest girl)
Andrea, Jen, little Maddox (Kara's baby), and Aunt Shirlayne

Chantry, Annie, Kara (cousins), and Aunt Rachel
Congrats to Jessie and Porter! May you find joy and happiness forever and all eternity:)
