Beautiful Evening on Deer Creek

My Uncle David offered to take us boating. He is amazing and willing to provide when it comes to having a good time! My parents, Grandma, Matthew & his twin brother Chris, and I all went along. We piled into the suburban with his pretty boat trailing behind to Deer Creek. The weather started out nice, though became very chilly near the end. We brought KFC and fresh fruit for dinner while on the lake. Grandma enjoyed the nice breeze and warm sunshine. We started off dragging behind the boat...everyone kept losing their swim suit bottoms, which is why I cut it early...embarrassing...Uncle David is a great instructor when it comes to teaching you all the tricks that come along with skiing. He was trying to teach Matthew how to slalom ski, but without luck he switched to 2 and got up no problem.Uncle David soaked mom and grandma in the front, towels and all! LOL:)I didn't have much success coming up either. The fat ski, I felt I had no control and the skinnier one, well I couldn't get up without the easy up. I tried and tried and tried, I got up a couple times only to fall to the side. Uncle David let the rope get tangled in the propeller. It was actually when I was switching skis and he was sorta mad at himself for doing it. But he handled it well and we got it all untangled. It took a while and I was getting colder and colder each passing minute. Then I had to jump back into the freezing cold water! Brrr! Uncle David is still pro I think! He goes up and over the wake no problem, and so gracefully too! I didn't think that was a possibility.

We had a great time out on the lake. Summer is coming to an end and it makes me really sad we are beginning to hit colder weather. I feel like fall is definitely in the air and I am not ready. Thanks Uncle David for the awesome evening out on the boat:)
