Independence Day!

This 4th of July was quite a bit different. I believe it was the first year EVER Mom hasn’t planned anything. But that was ok because I spent a wonderful day with Brandon and his family. It started off with the parade in Sandy that the Grandview Community has done for years and years. Brandon has participated in it since before he can remember. This year his brother bought a bunch of “clown bikes” which they rode, they looked pretty goofy and brought a lot of good laughs. Then he invited me to his family BBQ, which was really fun. We ate food, I met his really nice family, and we played with his little nieces and nephews. Later we went to watch the fireworks as they shot up into the air. It was amazing seeing all of the aerial fireworks everywhere we went. They actually made them legal this year. I had a great time with Brandon and am so glad I was able to spend such a wonderful celebration with him.

4th of july4th of july-64th of july-5  I am proud to be an American and am so grateful for the freedoms and rights that I have. How blessed we are to live in such a wonderful land and how great are the troops who are out fighting for their rights with faith and determination.

I love AMERICA!
