I am a 1/4 of a Century!

That is right! I am 25 years old now! woohoo! I have heard both good and bad about 25. I have heard it was a great year and also that it was a horrible year. But I think a lot of it is based on attitude and if I tell myself, “Sarah, 25 is going to be the best year yet!” Then it mostly likely will be. Right?

Attitude is a little thing that makes a BIG difference!

 

Thanks to all my friends who sent me texts and wrote on my wall on Facebook. And big thanks to my bestest friend, Sarah2, who called me from TeXas to make it personalized. And my family, well, they are always great! We went to Red Robin for dinner, the whole family plus my Grandma Inkley and friend, Brandon. It was delicious as always and they brought out this enormous volcano cake with brownie and ice cream covered in chocolate syrup. Yup…had to share that one bc it was bigger then my face:)Aspen loves great grandma. She was playing musical chairs the whole time bc she kept wanting to sit by someone different. I think we confused the poor waitress.

We came back for homemade brownies and ice cream sundaes but everyone was so full. I couldn’t resist bc it is what I asked for and my mom went through 2 batches before she got them right and ruined the frosting. So I felt bad and she went through a lot of work to make them perfect. They are my Aunt Tammy’s Brownie recipe and are Delicious!

Then I went over to Brandon’s house and we watched one of my favorite movies, Anaconda. I really had a great birthday and though I still haven’t gotten my big present from my parents (partly bc I keep changing my mind) the whole point is to have fun and enjoy friends and family. I got lots of balloons from people at work to decorate my cubical (which Aspen and Danny immediately owned once they spotted them). It was just a great day overall! So thank you to everyone who made it special:)
