Early Easter Sunday

We decided to celebrate all of the Easter festivities a week early this year with the family since everyone was going to be gone on actual Easter Sunday. We had an Easter Egg Hunt in the backyard for Aspen & Danny. The eggs actually had to be hid twice since Rex ate everything out of the first set of eggs! "Stupid Dog". The kids loved it! Aspen would pick up the eggs, shake them, and she knew, without even looking, which ones contained pennies! She also loved the fruit snacks, gold fish, and BUBBLES! I love watching the excitement of my niece and nephew! They are just so adorable:) Danny is such a character! He is so funny to just sit and watch as his curiosity takes him this way and that. He pulls the funniest faces and keeps everyone laughing!We blew bubbles and hung out on the deck for a while until it cooled down too much to stay outside. Aspen loves bubbles and was having so much fun that...lets just say that she is being potty trained...uh-oh...After chillin' outside, we came in a played a new card game that T&T taught us. I really enjoyed it...it's called Nine's, I believe and is super fun! It is a lot like golf but much more fun than that!It was a great "Easter Sunday" and I must say, I love these special occasions that bring us together as family.
