oOo ahh...Zoo Lights!!!

We went to the Zoo Lights last year and loved it so much we just had to go again! It really is cool the amount of lights they have throughout the park and the cats are supposedly more active...but I don't think we even went over and saw them this year. Grandma Inkley came along this year and I believe she enjoyed it as well. She bought Aspen a little light up necklace with a dolphin on it and she really thought that was pretty cool. It sure did make keeping track of her a lot easier!They have over 250 animated light displays that show the animals moving and doing different things. my favorite is the 2 frogs...the one sticks out his tongue smacking the other in the eyeball! I can't imagine the time it takes to set it all up!Then they have hot chocolate and warm heaters throughout the zoo to keep warm. It wasn't near as cold this year as it was last year. It really wasn't too bad actually.This lizard was in a really weird position...how is that even comfortable?

Danny is so dang adorable....he is such a curious, smiley, growing baby. Mom was showing him some lights and my dad came behind him. Well, Danny heard him and had to see what was going on.Looking at Santa and his reindeer flying into the sky. They actually had real reindeer but my flash wouldn't reach that far. The one was standing and trying to scratch a spot on his back leg. He couldn't get it so he started reaching it with his antlers! We were all getting a kick out of it! I seriously thought his eyes were going to pop out of his sockets he was straining to get that "one" spot so bad! hahaNick sure does love Aspen and she is so glad he is home from Lake Powell.They are both bundled up super good. It took them forever to get them ready once they were parked bc they put on so many layers. I wished I had put a little more layers on! They looked nice and toasty warm.-Peanut
