Strawberry Days

Pleasant Grove has their annual strawberry days every June. I love the fair...mostly the Rodeos but everything about it is fun entertainment. We roamed the boutique booths for a bit, grabbed a bite to eat, and then let the kids choose a few rides to go on. Of all the rides, they chose to go on the choo-choo train and 2 different car rides. They had a great time, riding around and around. Mom disappeared for a bit. She mentioned torturing me with the sweetness of a funnel cake and when I turned around she was gone. She does this a lot...just leaves everyone to venture out her ideas and places to go. I didn't realize she was serious until I found her standing in line at the concession. Note to self - never let her do that again. It really wasn't that good. Normally I love funnel cakes, but this one wasn't worth the calories by any means!

I couldn't resist the bungees! I had to go and flip! As I was standing in line my adrenaline was building up and I was almost shaking I was so excited to get up there and do what I do best. I will admit, I was a little rusty in my form, but was up there doing double backs and fronts no sweat. I love the feeling of flying in the air! You don't know what it means to "Naturally Fly" until you are a high level gymnast! It is the greatest feeling ever!

We had a great time at the fair and enjoyed the bright sunshine. I hope we will go again next year...but add in the Rodeo as a family too :)
