My Buddy - Rex

So. . . .I have to find a new home for my adorable dog, Rex. Things are just not working out between my family and him. Because I work full time and plan to go back to school in the fall, my mom is tired of catering to his every need. He really is very needy, and sometimes naughty, I will not lie. But he is also very smart just too stubborn to actually be a good boy. When the dog trainer comes, he is a little angel and doesn't let out a peep (bc he knows exactly who she is)! I think he is used to getting away with things and now that we are being more firm and know how to handle his misbehaving actions, he is just too stubborn to do it right. I am so sad to be looking for a new home for him * tear * but I think it will be good in the long run.
I really will miss him dearly! He is seriously SO cute. My wonderful friend, Katie Hudson, was kind enough to take pictures of us. He was quite distracted by all the ducks and chickens and other dogs roaming around in Payson. So his ears were perked, which made for really cute pictures.
Some of his Favorites:
*Playing outsides
*Going for walks/jogs (don't say the word if you aren't serious!)
*Basking in the sun
*Playing Hide-And-Go-Seek with his toys
*Destroying his toys until he successfully finds the squeaker inside
*Any Trick for a Treat
*Sitting on your lap to be sure you have plenty of company
*Curling up underneath any visible blanket nearby
*Sleeping right by your side at night, under the sheets
*Chasing birds and barking at them
*Licking the dirty dishes in the dishwasher
*An occasional stake bone or scrambled eggs


What does he hate:
*Being left home alone in his crate
*Rain
*The vet (now he hates car rides for fear of going there)
*Being left behind when my parents go for a walk
*Being told what to do
*Baths
*Getting his nails trimmed
