Moab

Here is our family in Moab. We all had an absolute blast running the river, hiking the arches and exploring Dead Horse Point. The whole trip was fun and exciting. I used my NEW canon Rebel xTi digital camera I bought myself for my birthday the week before we left. I captured some fun nature and animal photos; though I didn't succeed at finding the scorpion i was searching for. that's OK because i did find many lizards, a baby fox, chipmunks, and birds. So that worked out all right. everywhere we went the scenery was breathtaking, i never thought rocks could be so gorgeous! My mother was in charge of the food though we all helped cook and every meal was fabulous! especially the Fajitas!

the river rafting was a blast and risky at times. . it was fun coming to the "dead spots"b/c we were able to get out and swim. that is until we ran over a little girl in our boat; luckily she didn't get hurt, it just scared her. the rapids here fun though we hope to go on bigger rapids, like 4s, next summer!
